COLCHESTER, Vt. – Senior CJ Davidson (Canyon Lake, Calif./Vista Murrieta) spun a one-hit shutout and cracked the go-ahead home run to send the Saint Michael’s College softball team past regionally-ranked Adelphi University, 2-0, during the nightcap of a Northeast 10 Conference doubleheader on Saturday at Doc Jacobs Field. The Panthers took the opener, 9-6 in eight innings, and were considered for the first NCAA East Region poll.
