CNU Women鈥檚 Tennis Topples Salisbury in Regular Season Finale, 7-0
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — With a dominant showing on a beautiful Spring afternoon at the Eyre Courts, the No. 40 CNU Women’s Tennis team secured a 7-0 win over No. 66 Salisbury University on Saturday afternoon to close out the regular season. The Captains improved to 7-11 overall this season while Salisbury is 9-5 after the matchup in Newport News. In doubles play, the Captains won all three matches and then rolled through singles action as well with victories in all six head-to-head bouts.
