Captains Extend Softball Winning Streak to Six Following Doubleheader Sweep at Mary Washington
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Christopher Newport University won both games of a softball doubleheader Saturday afternoon at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, Va. The Captains won the opener by a 6-0 score, and then took the nightcap by a 4-1 margin. Keith Parr ‘s team is now 26-10, and the Captains have won their last six games. The Eagles of UMW fell to 16-24, and have now lost their last 12 games.
