Baseball Evens RRAC Opening Round with 16-5 Win Over Texarkana
ALEXANDRIA, LA 鈥� The Louisiana State University of Alexandria baseball team evened their Red River Athletic Conference Championship series against Texas A&M-Texarkana with a 16-5 win in seven innings. The Generals (33-14) scored in each of the first five innings. They put up crooked numbers in the second through fifth innings. Colin Ardoin (2-0) tossed 5.1 innings on the mound to earn the win. He allowed five earned runs on 10 hits. He struck out four. Jack Cowan hurled 1.2 innings of perfect relief, retiring all five batters he faced.
