Baseball Drops Series Opener to Angelo State
San Angelo, Texas – The Cameron University Baseball team battled offensively but ultimately fell in the series opener to Angelo State University, 16-11, on Friday night at Foster Field. The Aggies struck first in the top of the first inning as Diego Villarreal launched a solo home run to give the Aggies an early advantage. After Angelo State responded, the Aggies answered in a big way in the third inning, plating four runs to regain momentum.
