Anderson Reaches 400 Wins as Abbey Baseball Completes Sweep of Chowan
MURFREESBORO, N.C. 鈥� Belmont Abbey head baseball coach Chris Anderson earned his 400th career win as the Crusaders defeated Chowan 16-2 in the regular season finale Saturday afternoon at Hawkins Field. Anderson reached his milestone as the Crusaders capped a three-game sweep of the Hawks. At the close of the regular season, he has a .617 winning percentage and all-time record of 400-248-2. Belmont Abbey closes the regular season with a 36-12 overall record and 26-7 record in Conference Carolinas play. Chowan closes the season with a 4-35 overall record and 4-29 mark in league play.
