Yellow Jackets drop season finale to Bobcats
BUCKHANNON, W. Va. – The West Virginia State women's tennis team ended the season with a 4-3 loss at West Virginia Wesleyan. The loss brings the Yellow Jackets record to 6-10, and 2-4 in MEC contests. Wesleyan improves to 15-6 on the season, with a 4-2 mark in conference action. WVSU took the doubles point, with Amanda Menendez Thomasson and Maria Mercedes Kaltakian winning 6-3 at the top doubles flight, while Talia Nichols and Daniela Cruzado Fretel won 6-4 at no. 2 doubles to clinch the point.
