Women鈥檚 Tennis season ends in GLIAC Tournament
MIDLAND, Mich. 鈥� The Michigan Tech women's tennis season wrapped up in the GLIAC Tournament Quarterfinal at the Greater Midland Tennis Center on Thursday. Fourth-seeded Wayne State defeated the fifth-seeded Huskies 4-0 to advance. Alexandra Nikonenko and Katerina Khardina earned a 6-1 win at No. 3 doubles. Caoimhe McDonnell was heading to a third set at No. 4 singles before the match was ended. The Warriors took the doubles point and clinched the No. 1, 3, and 5 singles matches to secure the victory.
