Valkyries’ Season Concludes on Day Two of Conference Tournament
SPARTANBURG, S.C. – After making history yesterday as the first 12 seed to ever win a game at the Conference Carolinas Softball Championship, the Converse University softball team’s season has come to an end with a pair of losses on Friday afternoon. Top-seeded Francis Marion defeated the Valkyries 8-0 in six innings and sixth-seeded Chowan defeated Converse 7-2. Freshman Gracee Stucki was named to the all-tournament team.
