Track and Field Competes at Penn Relays
Goldey-Beacom Track and Field sent select athletes to compete in the prestigious Penn Relays in Philadelphia, PA. For the men, junior Jalen Wright (Wilmington, DE) competed in the 400-meter hurdles and saw a 32nd place finish with a time of 53.65 seconds. In the 4x200 Championship of America, junior Jose Cornejo (Sinaloa, Mexico), junior Bostwick Patten (Middletown, DE), junior Chris Robinson (Philadelphia, PA), and Jalen Wright placed 14th with a time of 1:27.68, and Patten, sophomore David Yunga (Philadelphia, PA), freshman Quran McCoy (Mays Landing, NJ), and senior Kedar Reid (Bear, DE) finished 26th with 3:26.18 in the 4x400 relay....
