Tennis Falls to Drake in MVC Tournament Quarterfinals
CHICAGO, Ill. -- Bradley Tennis fell to the Drake Bulldogs, 4-3, on Friday, bringing its MVC Tournament run to an end in the quarterfinals. The Braves earned a walkover win on court three, but a pair of 6-4 wins by Drake on courts one and two secured the doubles point for the Bulldogs. Bradley started singles play with a walkover victory on court six. Mariia Pukhina quickly defeated her opponent on court three, defeating Drake's Shiori Takenda in roughly one hour, 6-2, 6-1.
