Softball Falls in PSAC Doubleheader to Pitt-Johnstown
EDINBORO, Pa. 鈥� The Edinboro softball team fell in both halves of a PSAC West doubleheader to visiting Pitt-Johnstown Friday afternoon. In the opener, the Scots dropped a 7-1 decision. The nightcap needed extra innings with the Mountain Cats taking a 5-4 win. Pitt-Johnstown opened the scoring in the first game pushing two runs across in the top of the first on an Audrey Paterson RBI single and Mia Smith recorded an RBI groundout. Isabella Becker drew a walk to open the bottom of the frame and stole second. Cassidy Weller singled Becker home to cut the lead to 2-1.…
