TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- Northeastern State mounted a strong comeback in singles play to defeat Emporia State 4-3 on Friday in MIAA women's tennis action. The RiverHawks (12-8, 5-3 MIAA) dropped the doubles point after Emporia State claimed victories at No. 1 and No. 2, but responded with a surge in singles to secure the dual. Northeastern State's rally was fueled by multiple three-set victories.
