FLUSHING, N.Y. – The nationally ranked No. 32 Queens College women's tennis team opened East Coast Conference Tournament play in dominant fashion, earning a 4-0 sweep to advance to Saturday's championship match. Facing the No. 4 seed, the Knights secured the doubles point before adding three straight-set singles victories. Rookie Ela Vasic (Novi Sad, Serbia) sealed the win at No. 4 singles, lifting Queens to the shutout victory. With the win, Queens improves to 15-4 overall on the season.
