Nationally Ranked Bronchos Get Past Tigers in Hays
HAYS, Kan. 鈥� Fort Hays State Tennis fell to No. 36 ranked Central Oklahoma on Friday (Apr. 24) at the FHSU Tennis Courts. The Tigers celebrated senior Ines Steeman prior to the match, the lone senior on this year’s Tiger squad. The Bronchos took the match 7-0. The Bronchos took all three doubles matches. The team of Bethan Gill and Diana Souza took two games off of the No. 6 ranked duo in the nation, Mei Hasagawa and Pete Komada. Steeman joined Janae Montoya at the No. 3 position and won three games.
