Late Inning Heroics Lead to Doubleheader Sweep of St. Leo
ST. LEO, Fla. – A 10th-inning RBI double in game one and a go-ahead run on a wild pitch in the seventh inning of game two lifted the Lander baseball team to a doubleheader sweep of the St. Leo Lions on Friday at Thomas B. Southard Stadium. With the two wins, Lander reaches the 30-win mark for the third straight season, a feat accomplished only two other times in program history (2004-06, 2012-14).
