(Apr. 24) – UC Santa Barbara opened day one of the UCSB Invite with discus and shot put competition on Friday afternoon, highlighted by a personal best from heptathlete Amanda Eames in the shot put. On the men’s side, Chris Nora led the Gauchos in the discus with a fifth-place finish and a mark of 48.02m.
