YOUNG HARRIS, Ga. — Brendan Boschi scored five goals, but fourth-seeded Barton scored the first four goals of the fourth quarter to upset No. 1 Belmont Abbey 13-12 in the semifinals of the 2026 Conference Carolinas Men’s Lacrosse Tournament. The run broke a 9-9 tie at the end of the third quarter, although the Crusaders’ late run of three straight goals fell short. With the result, the Crusaders fall to 14-4 and must now hope for an at-large berth to the NCAA Division II Tournament.
