AMERICUS, GA. – The Columbus State baseball team dropped the opening game of its final Peach Belt Conference series of the season by a 5-3 score to Georgia Southwestern State University on Friday night at Hurricane Stadium. Columbus State is now 27-18 overall with an 18-10 record in the PBC, while Georgia Southwestern moves to 245-23 on the year with a 16-12 conference mark.
