Texas basketball lands transfer pledge from all-conference guard
Former Saint Mary’s guard Mikey Lewis has committed to transfer to Texas, according to multiple reports. 247Sports’ Dushawn London first reported the news on Thursday. Lewis spent 2 seasons with the Gaels, where he appeared in 68 games. He was an All-WCC First Team selection in 2025-26. He’ll have 2 seasons of eligibility with the Longhorns. Lewis was a dynamo sixth man for Saint Mary’s as a true freshman during the 2024-25 campaign. He played in all 35 games and averaged 8.2 points.
