DALLAS, TEXAS. - Delta State University baseball's senior pitcher Adrian Byrd is this week's National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association's (NCBWA) Division II National Pitcher of the Week. Byrd got the Statesmen's weekend sweep at Auburn Montgomery started with a complete-game shutout for the second consecutive weekend as the Statesmen defeated AUM 11-0 in seven innings. Against the Warhawks, Byrd threw seven innings, only gave up four hits and struck out 11 batters in the win.
