Bulldogs Earn Big Comeback Victory Over Bardstown
Wesley Bird Herald Staff [email protected] The Burgin Bulldogs softball team (3-7) beat the Bardstown Tigers (2-6), 17-7, on Thursday, April 16. Burgin fell behind five runs in the top of the third inning and responded with an 11-run outing in the bottom of the third inning. The Bulldogs were able to win the game via a 10-run lead in the fifth inning. Sophomore Jocelyn Stanley 鈥渉it for a cycle鈥� which is a single, double, triple and a homerun all in the same game.
