Richardson, Texas – The Angelo State men's track and field team swept the Lone Star Conference's weekly awards this afternoon as Jonathan Wright claimed Field Athlete of the Week honors, while the men's 4x100 meter relay team of Bautista Diamante , Taylor Briggs , Francis Patanpatan , and William Opare was named the Track Athlete of the Week. Wright, an Engineering student from Coahoma, won the pole vault at the Greyhound Open this past weekend with a vault of 16-11 (5.16 meters).
