Softball falls to No. 1 Virginia Wesleyan
SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury University softball program dropped both games against No. 1 Virginia Wesleyan University on Wednesday afternoon inside Margie Knight Sea Gull Softball Stadium. The Marlins (38-0) took game one 9-0, before ending game two in five innings over the Sea Gulls 12-3 (18-12). In the 9-0 game one loss, Sam Flowers and Courtney Johnson had the lone hits for the Sea Gulls. Brooklyn Richardson posted three consecutive shutout innings in the circle before giving up four in the sixth.
