Poirier Named to NEILA Division I/II Team of the Week
COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College men's lacrosse sophomore Noah Poirier (Dalton, Mass./Wahconah Regional) was among seven student-athletes named to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) Division I/II Team of the Week for the week ending on Sunday, April 19. Poirier went 33-for-43 on faceoffs with 25 ground balls during a 2-0 week. He was a perfect 21-for-21 with 17 ground balls in a 15-7 win over Franklin Pierce University that Tuesday before going 12-for-22 with eight more ground balls in a 13-9 win over No. 20 Bentley University on Saturday.
