Mavericks Wrap Up Round One of NSIC Championships
BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. --- The Minnesota State women's golf team finished round one of the NSIC Championships in second place Wednesday. The three-round NSIC Championships are being held at the par-72 Adams Pointe Golf Club in Blue Springs, Mo. Thirteen teams are competing in the event. The Mavericks finished round one with a 308 (+20). Minnesota Crookston sits one stroke ahead of the Mavericks at 307 (+19). UMC's Anaka Lysne leads the individual standings with a 70 (-2). "We played solid as team for the first 13 holes, then we struggled to finish the round," assistant coach Todd Pfingsten said....
