D&E Men鈥檚 Tennis Makes History with Win Over No. 38 WVWC
ELKINS, W.Va. 鈥� The Davis & Elkins men's tennis team made program history on Senior Day, defeating No. 38 West Virginia Wesleyan, 4-3, on Tuesday for its first-ever win over a nationally ranked opponent. Prior to the match, the Senators honored four seniors 鈥� Filippo Buffo, Santiago Ordonez, Justus Petersilie and Varshith Reddy Mareddy 鈥� for their contributions to the program. Davis & Elkins dropped the doubles point but responded with a strong showing in singles play, winning four of six matches to secure the historic victory over the Bobcats.
