Bobcats under consideration in first NCAA Division II regional rankings
By: Michael MacEachern Assistant Director of Athletics for Communications INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. | Georgia College & State University is one of 10 teams in the 10 teams in the Southeast region under consideration for the 2026 NCAA Division II Softball Tournament. There will be two more published regional rankings before the final selection by the NCAA for regional play May 11. Eight teams will be selected in the Southeast region for the national tournament.
