GLENVILLE, W.Va. – Glenville State two-time All-American wrestler Nick Johnson has joined the Pioneer football team for the 2026 season and is practicing during the spring under first-year head coach Jake Casteel . The back-to-back All-American was a national runner-up for Dylan Cottrell's top 10 wrestling program just a month ago at 197 pounds. Johnson, who played football and wrestled at Parkersburg High School, joins Casteel's squad as a linebacker. "Obviously with the physicality, he's already there.
