Northeastern State Shut Out Despite Strong Pitching Effort
OKLAHOMA CITY -- An RBI single proved to be the difference as Northeastern State fell 1-0 to No. 15 Oklahoma Christian on Tuesday in non-conference softball action. The RiverHawks (26-20) were held to three hits and left nine runners on base, including a missed opportunity in the fifth inning when they loaded the bases but were unable to score. Mia Sarwinski recorded Northeastern State's lone extra-base hit, while Jensyn Elder and Gracie Turner combined to limit Oklahoma Christian to three hits in the circle.
