Morey and Hill collect Gulf South Weekly Awards
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. 鈥� It was announced today that for the second time this season, the duo of Kaia Morey and Morgan Hill collected Gulf South Conference Weekly Awards in the same week. Morey was named the Defensive Player of the Week and Hill was named the Freshman of the Week. This marks the third award of the season for both players. Morey caused two turnovers, picked up two ground balls and collected six draw controls in an all-around effort as the Bearcats trounced Virginia State 18-2 on Saturday.
