Men’s Golf Remains in 8th at PacWest Championships
NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Chaminade University men's golf team continues to hold an eighth-place standing after Tuesday's second round of the Pacific West Conference Championships at the par-72, 6,818-yard Aliante Golf Course. With high winds whipping through the area, the Silverswords shot 321 in Round 2, putting them 22 shots behind No. 7 Jessup University heading into Wednesday's final 18 holes. Riley Born (Las Vegas/Odyssey), who shot even-par after Monday's opening round, struggled in the windy conditions, shooting a 7-over-par 79 in the second round, putting him at 7-over for the tournament.
