Falcons splits singles play but fall short against Pointers in WIAC Quarterfinals

STEVENS POINT, Wis. — The No. 6-seeded UW-River Falls women’s tennis team fell 5-2 at No. 3 seed UW-Stevens Point on Tuesday afternoon in the first round of the 2026 WIAC Tournament. The Falcons finished the 2025-26 season with a 7-16 overall record, matching last season’s win total, which was the most wins in the program’s history since 2010. UWRF opened the day by claiming one of three doubles matches.
