CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Bowie State softball pitcher Aaliyah Amos has been named Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Rookie of the Week and Pitcher of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday morning. Amos delivered a dominant week in the circle, leading the Bulldogs with two complete-game performances across 14.0 innings pitched. The freshman recorded 18 strikeouts while limiting opposing hitters and maintaining control throughout both outings.
