Women’s Golf Faces Uphill Battle in GSC Championship
DICKSON, Tenn. – The University of West Florida moved out to a commanding 14-stroke lead after the opening 18 holes of the 54-hole Gulf South Women's Golf Championship being played at Greystone Golf Club. The Argonauts finished with a 2-over par 290 while Mississippi College turned in a 16-over 304 and Lee was third at 18-over 306. Trevecca Nazarene (+19, 307) and Montevallo (+22, 310) rounded out the top five. West Florida's Millie Thompson and Isabela Urruchua led the medalist field with 2-under 70s.
