Waynesboro is looking for a new boys basketball coach. After four seasons as the Little Giants' head coach, John Spears has stepped down. Spears was named head coach in 2022. The longtime youth coach and basketball official said at the time it was his dream job, but he was never able to build a winning program at Waynesboro.
