By: Billi Derleth, Sports Information Director LA MIRADA---After a standout week at the plate, Kendall Nakano earned PacWest Player of the Week honors following a strong six-game stretch against Dominican and Concordia University Irvine. Nakano helped power Biola through the week with consistent production in the middle of the lineup. The Sophomore batted 11-for-20 (.550) across the six games with one home run, eight RBIs and two runs scored, while posting a .571 on-base percentage and .700 slugging percentage.
