KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Central Oklahoma sophomore Mei Hasegawa was named MIAA Women's Tennis Athlete of the Week, the league announced Monday. The sophomore from Japan went 4-0 last week to lead the Bronchos to a pair of wins in Edmond. UCO beat Northeastern State 5-2 on Thursday before a 7-0 win over Arkansas Fort Smith on Saturday. Hasegawa won 6-1, 6-3 and 6-1, 6-0 in her two singles matches. She won 6-2 in both doubles matches to go 4-0 on the week.
