Green and Thompson Announced as South Carolina Army National Guard Players of the Week
Women's Lacrosse 4/20/2026 11:25:00 AM This week's South Carolina Army National Guard Newberry College Players of the Week are sophomore goalkeeper Presley Green (Marmora, NJ) and senior sprinter Tavarian Thompson (North Charleston). Green led the Wolves to a pair of wins over Catawba and Tusculum to secure the #5 seed in the upcoming SAC Women's Lacrosse Postseason Tournament. She made 20 saves including 14 in the Senior Day 14-6 win over Tusculum. Her 14 saves marked the fourth time she registered double-digit saves in a game, but the first time she posted a victory.
