This is Iaquinto's first NE10 player of the week selection of her career. Iaquinto transferred to Southern this year after four years at DI Hofstra University. At Hofstra, Iaquinto started 43 games in her three seasons and totaled 23 hits and 10 RBIs. This season for the Owls, Iaquinto is hitting .321 with 36 hits and eight doubles.
