Ferri Takes Gold at AIC Invitational
SPRINGFIELD, Mass.- Shannon Ferri led the Hunter College women’s outdoor track and field team to another successful meet at the American International College Invitational. The senior placed first in the 5,000m race with her time of 19:25.97, also the best time in current City University of New York Atheltic Conference (CUNYAC) standings. The meet marks Ferri’s second straight weekend with a first place finish. Leila Nouri also ran the 5,000m, placing fourth overall with her time of 21:40.18, the second-best time in the CUNYAC.
