BELMONT, N.C. — Triniti Cassidy scored four goals while freshmen Kimberleigh Hansberry and Macy Lashells each had three as the Belmont Abbey women's lacrosse team got off to a fast start to defeat Converse 20-1 Monday afternoon at Alumni Field. The third-seeded Crusaders defeated the sixth-seeded Valkyries for the second time in four days and advanced out of the quarterfinals of the 2026 Conference Carolinas Women's Lacrosse Tournament.
