Bobcats Drop Home Contest to Presidents
Pitt-Greensburg fell to Washington & Jefferson, 15-2, on Monday afternoon at Bobcat Park, as a big fourth inning by the visitors proved to be the difference. Washington & Jefferson struck first in the opening inning, using a two-out RBI double down the left field line to take an early 1-0 lead. The Bobcats threatened in the bottom half after a leadoff walk from William Somers, but the Presidents worked out of the inning with back-to-back strikeouts.
