AVCA Announces All-American Honors
Four Violets on the New York University men’s volleyball team have been selected for the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-American teams announced on Monday, April 20. Freshman Charlie Clifford was named AVCA Newcomer of the Year. Emerson Evans picked up First Team recognition, while Clifford, Bennet Tchaikovsky, and Devyn Nguyen garnered Second Team honors. In his first collegiate season, Clifford was strong in the Violets attack. He led in service aces (26) and was second in kills (295) and kills per set (3.17).
