Wolves split Sunday doubleheader with first-place Saint Martin鈥檚
MONMOUTH, Ore. - Western Oregon's softball team split a Sunday doubleheader with first-place Saint Martin's at WOU Softball Field, winning the opener 4-2 before dropping the second game 10-1. Game 1 - Western Oregon 4, Saint Martin's 2 Kennedy Abbas pitched 6.2 strong innings and a Hope Bodak two-run single in the sixth proved to be the difference as Western Oregon took the opener. Abbas scattered eight hits and allowed two runs - one earned - before Braeli Martin came on to record the final out and earn her fourth save. The win improved Abbas to 7-5 on the season....
