Southwestern Throws Shine with Multiple PRs at Coyote Classic
SALINA, Kan. 鈥� Southwestern College turned in a series of solid performances, highlighted by multiple personal records and strong efforts in the throwing events, at the Coyote Classic hosted by Kansas Wesleyan University on April 17-18 at JRI Stadium. On the men’s side, Emerson Williams led the Moundbuilders in the throws, placing 10th in the shot put with a mark of 13.23 meters (43 feet, 5 inches) and adding a 17th-place finish in the discus at 34.60 meters (113-6), a personal record for Williams.
