No. 8 men鈥檚 rowing varsity eight captures gold at state championships
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. — The Hamilton College Continentals took home the gold medal in the men’s varsity eight at the 2026 New York State Collegiate Championships on Fish Creek on Saturday, April 18. Hamilton is ranked eighth in the Intercollegiate Rowing Coaches Association/Intercollegiate Rowing Association Division III Varsity 8+ Top 15 poll. Skidmore College was the only other ranked varsity eight entry at No. 12. The Continentals finished in first place in their morning heat with a time of 6:36.560 and Army was the runner-up in 6:43.848.
