Felician Battles Late, Falls to Wilmington (Del.), 19-1
The Felician University women's lacrosse team showed determination down the stretch, but a fast start by Wilmington (Del.) proved decisive in a 19-1 conference loss on April 18. Wilmington controlled the game early, scoring seven goals in each of the first two quarters to take a 14-0 lead into halftime. Felician found more offensive opportunities as the game progressed, finishing with 19 shots after being limited to just three in the opening half.
