LA MIRADA, Calif. — Concordia University Irvine scored in five of seven innings and held Biola to just four hits in a 10–1 victory in game one of a PacWest doubleheader at Freedom Field. The Eagles celebrated Senior Day in front of a great crowd of fans, but it was the first-place Golden Eagles from Concordia who controlled the action from the start.
