SIUE Women鈥檚 Tennis Advances to OVC Title Match
ST. LOUIS, Mo. 鈥� SIUE women's tennis defeated Lindenwood 4-0 in the Ohio Valley Conference Championships semifinals Saturday and will play for the title Sunday at noon. SIUE, 15-2, will play the winner of the other semifinal match between second-seeded Southeast Missouri and third-seeded Bryant. After winning the doubles point, SIUE won a trio of straight sets victories in singles. Senior Cydney Rogers got the Cougars started at No. 6 singles with a 6-1, 6-1 triumph over Mathilde Humbert.
